Birds and Brews is back to launch our fall campaign of Lights Out, Salt Lake! Join us for live music, beverages by Fisher Brewing Company, handmade art, and company from other nature enthusiasts in the cozy atmosphere of Tracy Aviary - all for a good cause! We’ll spend the evening enjoying and exploring the night sky with Tracy Aviary Conservation Scientists, University of Utah Astronomers, and other local experts. Back by popular demand, Jess Dwyer, with the Salt Lake Chapter of the International Dark Sky Association, will give an entertaining and informative talk about the importance of dark skies. Most importantly, we will learn small actions we can take to help save lives of migrating birds!
Friday, August 31 from 7pm-10pm
$15 Admission. Beer and food will be available for sale. A portion of all proceeds from beer sales will support Tracy Aviary's conservation programs.
